We have two great composers on the list for you in Episode 3 of Level with Emily Reese.
Tom Salta has worked on music for the Halo franchise for years. He worked on the music for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, the Halo 2: Anniversary Soundtrack, Halo: Spartan Strike and Halo: Spartan Assault.
His newest adventure in the Haloverse is for a 60-minute animated film called Halo: The Fall of Reach. The movie tells the story of Master Chief’s childhood, and Tom scored it. It’s fantastic; there are few who can nail the sound of Halo like Mr. Salta.
Mikolai Stroinski (The Vanishing of Ethan Carter) was part of the team who composed for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Mikolai wrote music along with Marcin Przybylowicz, and a Slavic folk band called Percival.
It is my humble opinion that this team of musicians deserves every award for Original Soundtrack of the Year. They went above and beyond. The composers wanted a soundtrack that sounded different, and they delivered.
I hope Mikolai, Marcin and Percival receive as much attention as possible for their fine work.
Enjoy the show!
