Joon Media 04: Brad Derrick Elder Scrolls Online and OCRemix

Sheesh, I’m such a hopeless Elder Scrolls fan I don’t even know where to start. The first RPG I ever played was The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Let’s just say that I didn’t know I could heal myself with magic until I was well into my second play-through (n00b)…

The music in Oblivion was stupid good, thanks to composer Jeremy Soule. For the newest game in the series, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, composer Brad Derrick took over compositional duties and put his own stamp on the music.

Sam, June and I are pretty pumped to have Brad Derrick on Episode 004.

ALSO! Larry Oji from OCRemix.org stopped by to share who some of his favorite remixers are these days. If you’ve never visited OCR’s page, DO IT. There’s loads of incredible music there for free. Larry gives us a sampling of six tracks. By the way, OCR has its own Patreon page; support them if you’re able!

AND! Kevin Knocke of IGN tells us what’s going on in eSports. Kevin has a great perspective on that world, likely resulting from his work as a commentator and professional competitive gamer. How cool is that?
